In 1977, Atari released Video Pinball, a dedicated home console system that played several versions of pinball as well as ports of the acclaimed arcade game Breakout. Atari produced two versions of the game, the original a brown with a woodgrain finish and the latter in a cream color. Sears also produced a version under its Tele-games label, entitled Pinball Breakaway. In 1978, Atari manufactured a coin-op version of the game, and in 1980, it re-appeared on a cartridge for the Atari 2600 console.
