In 1988, The Ohio Art Company introduced Etch A Sketch Animator 2000, a portable, drawing, animation game computer with 30 functions. The toy featured an LCD screen, 196 kilobytes of computer memory, a touchpad, and a cartridge slot for additional memory or game cartridges. The available cartridges included "Fly By," a flight simulator game; "Overdrive," a road racing game; "Putt-Nutts," a miniature golf game; and "Memory," a memory expansion game. The console sold for $139.99 and the cartridges were priced at $28.99.
