This collection of Nintendo and Super Nintendo games was played heavily by its donor, Ira Grosser, and his brother, Marc, in the late 1980s and the 1990s. Their favorite games included Pro Wrestling, due to the special moves used by each character, and Rad Racer, for its fast pace and challenging game-play. Ira also remembers the thrill of finding the secret warp zones in Super Mario Brothers.

The brothers also enjoyed playing the SNES. Ira recalls the following: "The games I remember playing the most were Super Mario World, Actraiser and Starfox. Super Mario was amazing. I liked being able to use the feather and flying to get the special coins. I also remember that Actraiser was the first video game that I actually finished. Starfox was an amazing game because of the special 3D chip. The graphics were amazing for the time."

This collection is useful for its clear demonstration of the importance and enjoyment of video games in the everyday lives of children, teens and adults.
