Founded in the United Kingdom in 1993, PC Gamer magazine is published by Future plc and focuses on news related to computer games. Editions are published monthly and contain previews and reviews of games, information on the games industry, computer hardware and accessories, and feature stories. One year after its inception, PC Gamer began publishing an American edition to coincide with the British version. Both editions generally ship with a demo disc, allowing players to sample games mentioned in that particular magazine issue.
