Super Studio Session is an electronic music game for use with Macintosh computers. Developed in 1986 by Bogus Productions, Super Studio Session allows uses not only to play pre-loaded music but also to create new songs and then play them. Like its companion game Jam Session, Studio Session is known for its wide range of musical instruments and pitches, and uses digitized instruments instead of pre-programmed synthesized sounds. Unlike Jam Session, however, Studio Session assumes users come into the game with some basic musical knowledge, specifically the ability to read and write musical notes.
