Jesyca Durchin began her interactive entertainment career in 1991 as a script consultant for Tim Burton Productions, where she contributed to such films as The Nightmare Before Christmas. In 1993, she joined Viridis Corporation and produced her first software title, Eco: East Afri Two years later, she moved to Mattel Media and produced some of the earliest software titles specifically marketed toward girls, including Barbie Fashion Designer, the fastest-selling children����_��s CD-ROM title of 1996. She has also produced seven successful animated Barbie DVDs, including Barbie in the Nutcracker. Durchin founded of Nena Media (2000), a consulting company that creates entertainment technology for such clients as Mattel, Disney, and American Girl; and DigitalPlayspace (2006), developers of social online games.
