View of Lord Nelson's Funeral Procession

This engraving shows Horatio Nelson's ((29 September 1758 – 21 October 1805) funeral procession of more than 10,000 soldiers which passed in front of the facade of St. Paul's Cathedral, London on January 8, 1808. Nelson, considered one of Britain's greatest military leaders, was then interred at the cathedral. His grave remains in the crypt today.
