"Miquel Utrillo (Barcelona 1862 - Sitges 1934) painted this view of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, from the house he shared with his friend Santiago Rusiñol at Quai Bourbon, in the Îlle Saint Louis, in the winter of 1894.
Impressionist painters were already interested in the representation of the snow effects in the landscape. In this canvas Miquel Utrillo give us the atmosphere and the intense cold of the Parisian winters."
