After 25 years of abandonment, the interest shown by the property to turn the cultural complex into a residential building threats its authenticity and even its continuity as one of the historic landmarks in San Sebastián. Few years ago, the highest protection as a monument was removed and the dome was alleged to be in bad state of conservation, so it was demolished in 2015 and the ensemble was modified for good.
