This exhibition takes its title from a quote by the poet Ramón Llull, serving as a starting point from which six contemporary Spanish artists, through site-specific projects, reflect on the ability of art to generate and multiply affections. The desire to connect with the land, to create bonds, and to rescue knowledge, is a theme that becomes particularly relevant when approached from a rural context, where artistic creation can be a powerful tool to help us think of new ways of living in community, approaching the challenges of the present through intuitive thinking.
"Doblad mis amores!" encompasses six projects that have been conceived for the church of San Martín, yet simultaneously overflow it, as their objective and scope has to do with learning to relate to each other from vulnerability, and ultimately, as the title indicates, to duplicate affections.
