The Coastal Camino in Gipuzkoa immediately provides us with one of the toughest obstacles we’ll find on the way to Santiago. Mount Jaizkibel, at 545m tall, is considered the highest coastal mountain of the Cantabrian coast.
The Camino runs along the length of the top of the mountain, marked out by towers built during the Second Carlist War, offering extraordinary views of the Gulf of Biscay and Txingudi Bay.
