Dearborn, MI, United States

Henry Ford loved fiddle music. As a young man, he bought an inexpensive violin and taught himself to play a little. By the 1920s -- as one of the wealthiest men in the world -- Ford could choose from among the world's finest "fiddles." He bought several exquisite classical violins, including this fine instrument made in Cremona, Italy, in 1703 by the renowned Antonio Stradivari.
