- Details: WOOL – Covilhã Urban Art Festival, that merged in 2011 in Covilhã, for various reasons beyond our control, didn’t get more support or funding for a second edition, so obviously we searched for other geographies, new projects and new formats. The first place that welcome us was LXFactory in Lisbon (as Rua Rodrigues Faria, 103 – www.lxfactory.com), undeniably the most creative and artistic center of the capital, which was installed in an old flourmill and later printer industry, a place filled with old and gray facades. This piece is one from the 3rd edition of WOOL ON TOUR. A double panel by the collective Color Blind, where they could show and express their passion by color and animals.
- Biography: Colorblind was born on the walls of Lisbon, the duo who likes to listen to "Hong Kong Ping Pong", their power of will and pure mixture of colors, are characteristic signs of the fusion of the work of the two artists - JoséCarvalho and Tamara Alves. Collaborating since 2010 in various works and exhibitions, including "Pampero Public Art" and "A Quarta Pata", they now join forces and present the Colorblind collective, a fusion between religion and the bestiality of urban daily animal life. Looking for walls around the world this duo observes with eyes wide closed the lacking aesthetics.
