Under the Diplodocus’ tail, a virtual Pachycephalosaurus awaits any visitors that want to challenge him. Literally, "thick-headed lizard", this dinosaur deserved its name: the top of its skull is 20 to 25 cm thick! Palaeontologists think it used this bony helmet as a battering ram, particularly when fighting male rivals, during the mating season. With a sufficiently long run-up it would no doubt manage to break the ribs of any attacker! Thanks to motion sensors placed beneath the screen, it reacts when people approach him.
