Rectangular marble plaque decorated with a central circular motif surrounded by a double concentric band and a five-pointed star shape inside. In the centre it has a circular rose with four petals making up a cross pattée. The spaces between the sides of the star and the circle are filled with a theme of overlapping arches in a kind of fretwork. The two peripheral circles have semicircular scales; the top one to the left, and the interior one to the right. The space between the large central circle and the upper horizontal strip has two six-petalled flowers in a circle. Between them there is another four-petalled flower (like the one in the middle of the plaque’s centre), also in a circular theme. The spaces remaining between the floral motifs and the rectangle of the plaque are filled with heart shapes. It is bevel cut with a marked "horror vacui".
The geometric and plant motif decoration of these screen plaques reflects the Visigothic presence in the area and links it to the local sculpture of this era.
On the back is a modern inscription, CAPITANIA DEL PUERTO / Y / DESPACHO DE SANIDAD (HARBOURMASTER / AND / HEALTH DEPARTMENT OFFICE), attesting its reuse.
