Vodou Flag

Vodou Flag from the collection of Ed Gessen.
Beaded flags with sequins and intricate artwork. This flag is 41” x 33” and is composed of dyed sequins and glass beads on cotton cloth with muted colors. It was exhibited in the Tampa Museum of Art’s Haitian Vodou Flag exhibition, “Sacred Diagrams” in 2019-2020 and featured in the accompanying catalogue.
