One side is off-white silk satin embroidered (Canton-style) with blue ru-yi sceptre motif, phoenix in pine tree, flowers, lotus in water, and crane. Other side is yellow silk satin with royal blue calligraphy and purple ru-yi sceptre motif. Red silk bottom, red silk damask. Reverse has a blue embroidered calligraphy of a poem, which reads "Where a heart for nature lies, long life resides, refined taste is nurtured, and prosperous descendants will arise." and is signed simply "the owner."
