Dedicatorias was a performance/installation inspired in Alejandro Cesarco's creation by the same name, a compilation of all the personal hand-written dedications appearing in the books of his personal library.
The work was structured in three acts as a micro-opera, and revolves around three main themes: the past (childhood), the present and the future. Two adult performers alternated their role as protagonists, and were accompanied by a piano and percussion duo plus an electronic device that played a quadrophonic sound track.
For the childhood theme, an edited sound piece featured the performer narrating some aspects of daily life during her upbringing, presented as an evocation. For the present, the personal dedications was recited live by the performer, both those included in Cesarco's book and others selected by herself and Bauer-, with live music in the background. Towards the end, for the future, she read a short text, a sort of manifesto, which was a mere projection of an idea, like a small creed or longing.
