Belt made from seven strands of tiny copper and aluminium ring beads threaded on wire. Pendant ornaments are curtain rollers. The ring beads are made from wire by a craftsman chainsmith. He coils the wire on the "Kilingi" and then cut down. The coil bangs the small cut pieces into circles. Such belts are worn by older unmarried girls and newly married women, never worn by old women. Made in the Machakos area before the people moved from there to Thaltha.
