Waistcoat of embroidered white linen with coloured silks in stem, satin and buttonhole stitches. The design consists of ten sprays of flowers and fruit arranged symmetrically on the two fronts. The two front panels are edged with small triangles worked in yellow silk. Seven buttonholes down the left front are worked in yellow silk and correspond with seven eyelet holes for buttons worked in white thread on the front right. The waistcoat is long at the front and short at the back. A dart on each side at the waist at the front. The back and lining are of linen.
