White silk satin waistcoat embroidered with large-scale floral motif in coloured chenille threads in green, pink, blue and orange. The floral trail winds up the fronts from hem to neck. The scalloped pocket flaps have similar motifs symmetrically arranged on them. The waistcoat is straight cut with full long tails and a slightly curving front. The neck is plain. The back is of the same satin as the front. Lined with canvas, and the sides and tails are lined with green silk. The buttons are dome shaped of silver foil re-embroidered in silver purl. An additional piece has been inserted at each shoulder.
