A dado is shown at the bottom, an entablature on top. The panel shows on top a rinceau. It is checkered. For the squares are suggested alternative decorations: obliquely dispersed straw-plotting, at left: a seemingly woven lozenge, at right. Alternative suggestions were also made for the floral decorations of the vertical and horizontal bands framing the squares. Rosettes are in the squares at the crossings of the bands.
