Sword and its sheath in iron, leather, and wood with jade, gold, and gemstones. Extremely fine damask blade in a Persian shape and encrusted in gold with insignia and bands of characters. Armless handle in jade, enhanced with Oriental rubies and light sapphires (mounted in gilded metal), with no commercial value. Wooden sheath covered in red struck and gilded leather. The jade snap bears the same decoration. The harness on the sheath model has two large jade buttons decorated with gemstones. Seven fullers separated by quadrilobe jewels on the spine of the blade. Moldings incised in place of the counter-blade.
Developing the model of the Emperor's war attire into a less grandiose style (the silk doesn't have the flash of imperial yellow, the embroidery is less delicate, and there are only three claws on the dragon's feet), this courtier's procession attire is composed of a tunic and long, slitted skirt worn with pauldrons, a helmet, and quiver, conserving the outfit's war-like purpose.
On the tunic, lined with sky-blue silk, six rosettes are embroidered in golden thread. The helmet, an essential element of this attire, is made from a metal both gilded and carved, decorated with two fine pearls and dragons. However, this head protection, completed by a neck cover, two ear covers, and a chin guard, is most importantly topped by a magnificent plume decorated with pearl garlands. Finally, a pair of boots in black silk add a finishing touch to the outfit.
