Portrait of Warren G. Harding, ca. 1920. He was born in Blooming Grove, Ohio in 1865. Harding served as a United States Senator from Ohio from 1915 to 1921. In 1920 he was elected the 29th President of the United States. He served from 1921 until 1923 when he died in office. He was succeeded by Vice President Calvin Coolidge.
