This Roman water bottle was found during excavations of the Macellum (market of Baelo Claudia) in 1980 by the French Institution of Hispanic studies, Casa de Velázquez. It has an exceptional state of preservation. This piece conserved in storage is made of common pottery with a light beige clay with orange slip ware, with short and narrow neck and outward mouth. It has no handles.
