A water buffalo is laying down horrizontaly across the ground, rolled almost on its back. It has a huge bulging stomach, could be pregnant. Its horns are pointed in different directions, one is curved to upwards while the other is curved downwards. Near the hips of the buffalo a woman is sitting with one knee to her chest and the other slightly below. She leans her elbow on the farther knee and is holding the toes of her other foot with her hand. Her right hand is resting on the knee held to her chest. Her profile is facing foreward, looking at the buffalo's face. Her face is calm, neutral, as though she is waiting for something or in deep thought. She wears a cloth headband.
