Füsun Onur explores form, space, time and the relationships between them with an extraordinary variety of materials. In her collage "Water by the Sidewalk" (1981), she provides a maverick view of everyday life as seen from the bottom up. In the first of her plexiglass plates, cut in the form of a puddle coloured with various materials, the reflection of a girl jumping over the water as she plays with a ball is seen. The other plate has the reflection of a cat drinking water from a puddle.
