Original Robert Ingpen watercolour depicting England medium-fast swing bowler, Alec Bedser. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. In 51 Tests, Bedser took 236 wickets at an average of 24.89. Against Australia he captured 104 wickets, including Bradman five times in succession, and Morris 18 times in 20 Tests. In 1996, Bedser was knighted for his services to cricket.
