Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Australian high jumper Charles Porter. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. In 1956, after a tight battle and more than 9 hours of competition, Porter won the silver medal in the high jump at the Melbourne Olympic Games at the MCG. Charles Dumas of the USA won gold.
