London Transport published this poster in 1972. It was designed by Hans Unger to promote travel to the City's lakes, canals, streams and rivers. The calming colour and undemanding composition would have been a vision of serenity on an Underground platform or a busy London Street at rush hour. However, this is not a purely abstract representation of Waterside London: a fish makes its way across the bottom of the poster.
