The valuable headpiece made of high-carat gold is one of the most exciting finds from pre- and early history. The masterpiece of Bronze Age goldsmithery was discovered by chance in the 1950s during forestry work and has been lovingly restored. The precious headpiece would have been worn by a priest, mage or chieftan on ceremonial occasions.
