Dulwich Picture Gallery
London, United Kingdom

This painting was apparently copied from the whole-length portrait acquired by the National Portrait Gallery (NPG 1288) in November 1900, itself a copy of a Jacobean painting of c.1618, showing Bacon in his chancellor's robes. There is another copy in the Dulwich Picture Gallery collection, limited to the sitter's bust (DPG445).
