We Love Delhi

The idea was to paint characters resembling sanskrit letters to form a base, which would then be half erased with water to create an effect described as 'colour rain', drawing inspiration from the festival of Holi. After speaking with children of the community who play cricket at their site everyday, the artists decided to write the text 'We love Delhi' in hindi to create an artwork which everyone in the neighbourhood could relate to and enjoy.
