Meteorological observations taken by Dr Thomas Hughes from Stroud, England for 1771. The observations include a variety of noteworthy events such as storms, floods, earthquakes, aurora sightings and other geophysical data and occasional phenological remarks. Casual notes also include reference to a number of historical events including the victory at Trafalgar and subsequent death of Admiral Nelson.
