Doll. Made of cloth, in the form of a woman weaving with a backstrap loom. It has a rectangular wooden base, on one side sits a beige cotton doll with black wool hair, and with a blue cotton blouse and a fuchsia cotton skirt with white accents at the front, as well as green felt on her back. On the other side there is a backstrap loom with textile gauze-woven in the style of Aranza fastened to the post and strapped around the woman's waist and with a string tied to her body under her clothes and threaded through a hole in the base. When the string is pulled, the doll bends towards the loom. It was acquired in the 1970s in Michoacan for an exhibition in the Horniman Museum and later tranferred to the British Museum.
