Weck preserving jars

Red currants and pears have been preserved in these Weck jars for more than 50 years now. The red currants were flambéed with alcohol just before sealing the jars to additionally extend their shelf life. The embossed “Weck” logo is visible in the strawberry on the top of the jar.
