Wedding dress, women's, silk, maker unknown, worn by Ann Marsden on her marriage to Thomas Hassall, St John's Church Parramatta, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 12 August 1822. Fabric may have come from the wedding dress of Elizabeth Marsden, married Samuel Marsden, Hull, Yorkshire, England, 21st April 1793.

A pale green, silk damask wedding gown with an empire waist and square neckline. The dress has short puffed sleeves over long straight sleeves and a full skirt that gathers into the empire waist. The fabric features small flowers embroidered across its surface. A floral pattern can can also seen embroidered around the hem of the skirt.
