The multi-storey car park on Welbeck Street was designed by architecture office Michael Blampied and Partners in 1971 to serve shoppers at the Debenhams flagship department store on nearby Oxford Street. Its distinctive Brutalist facade featured a grid of concrete diamonds. This photograph captures it shortly before it was demolished in 2018.
