At the same time as the west choir and the cycle of donor figures, the magnificent stained glass windows were created, which fit stylistically and programmatically into the work of the Naumburg workshop. The clear correspondence of the saints in the panes with the design of individual donor figures suggests that the glass workshop was under the direct influence of the Naumburg master. Due to their high-quality technical and artistic execution, the west choir windows are among the most important glass painting collections of the High Middle Ages.
