Whale Report

Report regarding the stranding of a whale in King's Lynn dated at the top 11 April 1867 but actually reports on an event that happened some 25 years earlier. The stranding of the whale occurred (according to the document) on 21st April 1842. However the similarities between this event and one with which took place on 27th August 1842 are too numerous to ignore. The size of the whale, the method of the chase, location, names of captors etc.
