Giuliano Marian was born in 1973 in San Vito al Tagliamento PN, where he lives and works. After completing his studies at the “G. Sello ”in Udine, in 1996 he graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.
His works are the result of an artistic research based mainly on the analysis of the shape-color relationship, aimed at highlighting how the perception of events and things is, for the most part, a stimulating game to be discovered. The images are idealized “icons” of future metropolises, recreated through mechanical means and / or painting that deforms and transforms everyday objects, suspending them in the artificial dimension of color. In the most recent works, a monochromatic cast eliminates any structure and any lively assonance / dissonance previously created, leaving however a glimpse of a rich and colorful underlying “world”.
