White sun suit with printed purple and green striped abstract pattern. Short flared skirt over knicker bottoms with elasticated legs, crossover tie decoration around the waist and bust with fine straps. This textile pattern was commissioned from the artist and designer Alastair Morton in 1948 and featured in Vogue in May 1948. Purchased with the assistance of the V&A Purchase Grant Fund, the NACF and the Friends of the Harris.
