Who is who?

The Italian draughtsman Tullio Pericoli presents Marcel Reich-Ranicki in the background of this collage-like composition together with writers who strongly influenced him. Among these are also some expatriate authors – Thomas Mann, Alfred Döblin, Bertolt Brecht – whose work he paid close attention to after being deported to Poland in 1938.
