Vermibus is an ad-dissolver. The artist uses a skeleton key to open the doors to the light boxes at bus shelters and other recently privatized “public” spaces. Vermibus then takes the posters to his studio and starts painting solvent onto them. The pigments in the photos dissolve. Finally, the artist secretly hangs the posters back and locks them up in their prisons again.
