Banglip, or conical hat, is a headgear worn for protection from rain or sunlight, or worn by mourners for funerary services, and was also called banggat, or a mourner’s hat. It resembles a satgat, or conical bamboo hat, but its brim is slightly curved inwards in the shape of a round petal. Misari, the inner round frame worn on the head to support the hat, was affixed to the inside of banglip.
