A pewter wig powderer with brass plunge pump at the top and emission spout at the side, eighteenth century. The container is filled with powder through a hole in the base. (Pictured: Top). A white kid leather pouch with wooden screw-on lid. Designed to carry wig powder. The pouch contains a small ostrich feather powder puff for application,18th century. (Pictured: Bottom right). A wig powderer in the form of leather bellows. Composed of a large metal spring covered with leather and fixed in place by rows of thin rope between each spring. The larger end contains a removable wooden screw-on lid, 18th century. (Pictured: Bottom left).
