Crocuses in the lawn at Alexandra Road Park in Camden, north London, which opened in 1979. The 1.7 hectare park sits within the Alexandra and Ainsworth estate designed by architect Neave Brown of Camden Architects’ Department. The planting and playground areas were designed by renowned landscape architect Janet Jack (1934 – 2016). This photograph was taken by local resident Elizabeth Knowles, who has documented everyday life in the park, its fall into disrepair and regeneration.
