This painting called ‘wind in the mountain’ shows a sharp contrast between the Mediterranean vegetation in the foreground, which is depicted with close attention to details and according to the Lojacono’s iconic style, and the brume and northern atmosphere of the whole background, which is a novelty as opposed to his contemporary production. Other novelties of this painting are the large space left to the sky and the experimentation of a blurred vision which, once again, seems to be in open competition with photography.
