Windsor Castle has been used as a residence of Royal Family until present time. Queen Elizabeth Ⅱspends her relaxing weekend at this Castle when she doesn’t have any official engagements. In 1992, the Castle faced major fire accident. To cover the cost of repairing expense for Castle’s damages, some parts of Royal Court, for example Buckingham Palace, are opened for public with entrance fee.

- 作品解説 / Object Note (Japanese): ４万５千㎡の床面積を持ち、現存する城で、人が住む城としては最大規模のウィンザー城。エリザベス二世が公式行事のない週末にはここでゆっくりと時を過ごす。１９９２年には火事が発生したが、バッキンガム宮殿など、いくつかの王宮を一般公開し、その収益を修復に充てている。
