This bronze vessel has an extended spout with a trefoil mouth and a massive casted hexagonal handle. Handle`s upper part is decorated with a sculptural head of a beardless mythical Satyr, lower part – with an embossed head of another mythical creature – Silenos.
This wine jug was found in Haimanova Mohyla barrow, supposedly a Scythian king's family burial site. Oenochoe was there with other dishes in the household niche of one of Haimanova Mohyla’s tombs.
